Bio

A high school dropout with an MFA from an Ivy league university, Eden has proved to his mom that he’s not a failure. In his stories, Hadad is obsessed with bad characters that struggle with their good heart, a fixation he got because of his exposure to violence during his army days. His film, The Disposers, premiered at the Raindance Film Festival, as it’s a unique short that shows Hadad’s specific voice.

A Yemenite/Libyan immigrant in the US, originally from Israel, Eden is a fellow of the inaugural 1IN4 Writers Program, and the 2022 RespectAbility lab. Eden Hadad is a writer/director that is all about character driven quirky cinematic rides.
